God’s Household — You Belong Here
Planted in God’s Family. Growing Together.
Scripture:
"So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith."
Galatians 6:10 (ESV)
Reflection
God never intended anyone to walk with Him alone. When we received salvation, we weren’t just rescued from sin; we were adopted into a family. Scripture calls us members of God’s household. This means church is not an event we attend but a family we belong to.
Psalm 68:6 says God sets the lonely in families. He intentionally places us where we can be known, nurtured, and strengthened. His design is that we grow spiritually through connection. Just like a coal burns bright in a fire but grows cold when pulled away, believers thrive when planted in community.
This is why spiritual maturity and relational unity go hand in hand. God uses His family to encourage us, sharpen us, correct us with love, and remind us of who we are in Christ when life feels confusing or heavy.
If you call Mountain Springs Church home, attend Equip Nights, join small groups, and Open Homes. Don’t carry your burdens alone. Let others pray with you, laugh with you, strengthen you, and walk with you through every season. And be that gift to someone else too.
Church is the place where you can truly say:
“I belong. I matter. I am known. I am family.”
When we are connected, we can stand firm. When we are united, we become unstoppable in love and mission. God’s plan is that you not only attend church, but that you are established and rooted in His family so you can flourish in your calling.
Reflection Questions
Prayer
Father, thank You for placing me in Your household of faith. Help me to connect deeply, love sincerely, and build strong relationships that honor You. Teach me to both give and receive support within this spiritual family. Establish me in community so I can flourish and help others thrive. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Reflection Questions
- Am I fully planted in God’s family or still standing at a distance?
- Who am I intentionally building spiritual relationships with right now?
- How can I let others support me and allow myself to be known?
