Living by Faith — See Differently, Speak Differently
Scripture:
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NKJV)
“We have the same spirit of faith… I believed and therefore I spoke, we also believe and therefore speak.” 2 Corinthians 4:13 (NKJV)
Reflection:
Faith is not a feeling. It’s not wishful thinking. It’s a way of life, a daily choice to see beyond circumstances and live anchored in God’s truth.
The Bible tells us that faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17). But what are we hearing? What voices shape our perspective — God’s Word or the noise of fear, doubt, and limitations?
Fear creeps in when we give attention to the wrong things — the headlines, the opinions, the bank account, the obstacles. But faith is different. It refuses to be defined by what’s visible. It looks beyond.
2 Corinthians 5:7 reminds us that we walk by faith, not by sight. We don’t live based on the natural, temporary facts around us but by the eternal promises of God.
Faith doesn’t deny reality, but it defies limitations. It believes for the impossible because God is the God of endless possibilities.
And faith isn’t silent. It speaks. “I believed, therefore I spoke.” (2 Corinthians 4:13)
What we believe shapes what we say, and what we say shapes the world around us.
It’s time to renounce fear-based living. The patriarchs died in faith (Hebrews 11), and we are called to live by faith.
Awake to faith again. Believe again. Let the noise of fear fade, and hear God’s Word afresh. Let faith rise.
Reflection Questions:
Prayer:
Father, awaken faith in my heart again. Forgive me where I’ve lived by sight and fear, not by faith. Help me tune out the noise of doubt and tune into Your Word. I choose to believe again. I choose to speak words of faith, not fear. Lead me to live boldly in the realm of endless possibilities, trusting You every step of the way. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Reflection Questions:
- What voices am I giving the most attention to — God’s Word or the noise around me
- Where have I allowed fear or limitations to define my thinking?
- What promise of God do I need to believe and speak over my life today?
