Position Overview

The Administrative Assistant will support day-to-day church operations, communications, and Kids & Youth program coordination. This role provides hands-on experience in administration, organization, and event planning within a collaborative, faith-based environment.


Key Responsibilities

1. Administrative Support

  • Maintain records, files, and general documentation
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, services, and events
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and internal communications
  • Support volunteer coordination and maintain updated rosters

2. Kids & Youth Program Coordination

Assist with planning and organizing Kids and Youth Church events
Prepare program materials, registration lists, and parent communications
Track attendance and participation records
Provide logistical support for program setup and follow-up
 
3. Communications & Office Support

  • Respond to phone and email inquiries professionally and courteously
  • Draft announcements, event notices, and basic communications
  • Support digital and print communications for church programs


Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and priorities
  • Clear and professional communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Comfortable responding to inquiries and interacting with families, volunteers, and community members
  • Basic proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar)
  • Attention to detail in keeping records, documentation, and scheduling
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • A positive, welcoming attitude and willingness to learn
  • Interest in supporting children’s and youth programming in a faith-based setting
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality

Position Overview


The Audio-Visual Assistant will support the technical and media needs of Church Services, Kids and Youth programs, and Outreach events. This role provides hands-on experience in digital production, AV operations, and event coordination within a collaborative, faith-based environment.


Key Responsibilities



1. Media & Technology Support

  • Operate cameras, soundboards, lighting, and livestream equipment during services
  • Record, edit, and upload service content to online platforms (Website, Instagram, Facebook)
  • Assist with basic troubleshooting and maintenance of AV and media equipment

2. Church Service Operations

  • Support AV-specific setup and takedown for weekly services and events

3. Kids & Youth Program Support

  • Capture photos and videos of Kids Church and Youth events for internal and social media use

4. Communications Support


  • Assist with digital content creation (slides, announcements, social media posts)
  • Help manage media archives, volunteer rosters, and event planning checklists


Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:


  • Interest or experience in media production, videography, photography, or audio/visual technology
  • Willingness to learn how to operate cameras, lighting, soundboards, and live-stream equipment
  • Basic understanding of digital media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and troubleshoot simple equipment issues
  • Creativity in capturing and editing photos, videos, and digital content
  • Strong attention to detail in managing media files, archives, and project checklists
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently during live events and services
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude
  • Reliability, punctuality, and respect for a faith-based environment
  • Ability to lift, move, or set up light AV equipment as needed
